Clear and effective reporting is essential for communicating assessment results and supporting evidence-based decision-making. The reporting phase brings together analysis, visualisation, and narrative to ensure findings are accessible and actionable for a wide range of audiences.

Report Templates

Reporting results typically takes one of three main formats:

  • Short Summary Reports (2–4 pages): These concise briefs highlight key findings, recommendations, and implications for decision-makers. They are ideal for senior management, donors, and partners who need a quick overview. Find ready-to-use templates here, here and here.

  • Elaborate Food Security Reports: Comprehensive reports provide detailed analysis, methodology, context, and in-depth findings. These documents are intended for technical audiences, programme teams, and stakeholders who require a full understanding of the assessment process and results. Find a ready-to-use template here.

  • Presentations: Slide decks and visual summaries are used to communicate results in meetings, workshops, and briefings. Presentations focus on clarity, visual impact, and key messages. Find a ready-to-use template here.
