Qualitative Data Collection For Nutrition

Prev Next

The analysis step is the core of the Nutrition Vulnerability Analysis (NVA) process, aiming to synthesize fragmented data into a coherent understanding of nutrition vulnerability. This step involves systematically triangulating all available evidence - both quantitative and qualitative - through a collaborative, facilitated process with multisectoral stakeholders.

The goal is to move beyond isolated data points and build a shared narrative grounded in both technical evidence and local context. Using the NVA Analytical Matrix as a central tool, the analysis organizes information by causal pathway, indicator, and geographic area. It also ensures that metadata, limitations, and interpretation rationale are clearly documented.

This step lays the analytical foundation for the NVA, supporting consensus-building and informed decision-making.
