# Social Cohesion Technical Note

The monitoring team at the Regional Bureau in Cairo RBC started the process of developingand validating a social cohesion tool to be used for monitoring purposes. The aim of this tool is to quantify social cohesion and monitor the possible impact of WFP livelihood activities on the social cohesion between Syrians and host nationals in urban areas. The tool will be used in Syria response countries where WFP is implementing FFA and FFT activities involve both Syrians and national hosts for a significant duration of time.
