# Nutrition Vulnerability Analysis (NVA) guidance

The NVA guidance is designed to support Nutrition and VAM teams in conducting an NVA together with other members from the nutrition community. This is a pragmatic, consensus-driven approach designed for access-constrained humanitarian settings where conventional nutrition assessments are not feasible. It helps generate a credible, actionable understanding of nutrition vulnerability - focusing on underlying drivers and triangulated evidence - even in the absence of recent anthropometric data.
