# Data Library Guidance

WFP’s Data Library (DataLib) is the final location for storing all digital household assessment and monitoring datasets, including quantitative and qualitative data. In DataLib, it is possible to define access rights to Private (single analyst), CO or WFP level users (access to external audiences is planned for October 2022). This enables storing both original raw datasets as well as final processed datasets in DataLib.

In addition to the datasets, COs should upload all survey or study metadata in the DataLib as soon as a survey is planned. Metadata is the associated information, such as the code (syntax) used for analysis, the sampling framework, including sampling weights, and the questionnaires.
